The Nonstandard Errors (NSEs) paper inspired David Stolin of EdMovie to produce two sketches based on it or, more precisely, Educational Comedies (EdComs). These videos help spread the word on NSEs both within and outside academia.

Is it a good idea for researchers to speak to journalists? Maybe not if the journalist leaves them speechless.

The sequel to this first video was filmed on location in Amsterdam.

These EdComs were screened at international film festivals. The latter was screen at the LA WEBFEST 2024 and both were screened at the International Film Festival The Hague in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
